TS029 Lowfills - Promo 2023

A group of pals got together 10 years ago and started making a bunch oddball gunslinger cabaret/ragtime inspired tales of wonder and woe.

With moods ranging from playful & intrepid to rather austere & lone, the quartet demonstrates an intuitive and complementary approach to their compositions & abilities - playing for the sake of the song and not for themselves.

The recordings presented here come from a much larger session and aside from some light overdubs, remain unmixed and unmastered with added reel to reel post processing to capture the warmth of their music.

A polished album is forthcoming and the aim of this release is to showcase the band as they are with no studio embellishments and offer an intimate demonstration to this outsider ensemble.
